About the Conference on Research Data Infrastructure 2025 in Aachen
The second edition of the Conference on Research Data Infrastructure (CoRDI) will take place from 26 to 28 August 2025 at RWTH Aachen University. A broad programme is planned in the lecture hall centre C.A.R.L. with keynotes, lectures, poster sessions and a market of opportunities.
The CoRDI stands for more knowledge through better use of research data and the resulting added value for society. We look forward to welcoming national and international stakeholders from all fields of research and infrastructure to CoRDI 2025 in Aachen.

Call for Contributions
Please note that the submissions for the CoRDI 2025 can be uploaded via EasyChair. You can find a template on our Call for Contributions subpage. Abstract submissions is open until April 17, 2025.
Programme
You will find a program schedule here at a later date. The detailed program planning phase starts after the end of the submission period in mid-April. There will be eight tracks, keynotes, poster sessions, some smaller group meetings and more.
The disciplinary tracks address infrastructure aspects relevant for the individual disciplines:
- Humanities and Social Sciences
- Natural Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Engineering
The cross-disciplinary tracks address more specific topics regarding the delivery of Research Data Management (RDM) infrastructure:
- Impact of RDM: This track is about how to understand, measure and encourage the impact of research data.
- RDM in Context: This track is about the larger context of research data including standardization efforts, supporting services, working in international contexts, and cultural change. Both technical and organizational submissions are encouraged.
- RDM Infrastructures: This track is about the technical infrastructure including software that supports RDM and research data interoperability and use.
- Educating RDM: This track is on data literacy – educating users on research data management but also for skills development in domains.

Location
The conference will take place in the C.A.R.L. (acronym for Central Auditorium for Research and Learning) at RWTH Aachen University. The building offers lecture halls and seminar rooms on several floors and is located in Aachen’s central area east of the Westbahnhof.

Registration for the conference is not yet open. We will inform you via our website, news channels and social media as soon as it is possible to register.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer free tickets this year. Ticket prices will be in the mid three-digit euro range.
