NFDI recently became a member of the Research Data Alliance (RDA). Both initiatives aim to share and reuse data resources in a community-driven approach. Research data management is an international task and we look forward to future exchanges with other players in the network.
The Research Data Alliance (RDA) was launched as a community-driven initiative in 2013 by the European Commission, the United States Government’s National Science Foundation and National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Australian Government’s Department of Innovation. With more than 14.000 individual members, 81 organisational and affiliate members and over 35 regional networks covering 152 countries (December 2023), the RDA provides a neutral space where its members can come together through focused global Communities of Practice, Working and Interest Groups.

The 3rd edition of the Conference on Research Data Infrastructure (CoRDI) will take place from 5 to 7 October 2027 at Leibniz University Hannover (LUH). CoRDI 2027 is being organised by the association German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) in cooperation with the TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and LUH.
